والله يمهل حتى أجل مسمى، حتى يرى كل واحد منا نفسه على حقيقتها، يمهل لنرى أن الغطرسة والكبر والغرور مردهم إلى تراب. وكيف أن تعطل عضو في الجسم كان يعمل بإعجاز لا يقدر عليه المتغطرس قد أسلمه إلى الذل والهوان.
الله يمهل وقد هدانا الطريق المستقيم، ورفع فوقه لافته واضحة لا لبس في معناها تقول (الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن).
